Very dependable basics, goat curry and palak paneer. It is close to where I live. It takes a second I called the foods ready in 30 minutes for pick up. I forgot to mention the vegetable pakora Is close to what you get in India.

With a long list of Indian/Pakistani vegetarian favorites, a vegan cannot go wrong here when in need of some good takeout! Prices are so reasonable, in these days of sticker shock. I ordered Dal Palk (lentils, spices, spinach blended into a creamy sauce) which is incredibly flavorful and rich. I ordered it extra spicy but they are conservative with heat so next time I'll insist on "Indian hot." I do understand why they are heat-shy. I inquired about dairy/butter in this dish as well as the naan and rice. The naan has butter so they suggested roti. So good dipped into the dal and is delicious, baked to perfection (toothsome, with some char). Given the affordable prices, I would suggest ordering a second vegetable dish in addition to the dal because it is almost a soup. I appreciate that the basmati rice is plain and not loaded with ghee the way it is in some restaurants. The dishes are so rich, you need something plain to properly balance everything. I'm a huge fan of Lazzat with just one visit and I suspect I'll be ordering from here every single time I'm in town so I'll be sure to report back!
